Title: Grain de riz
Post by: rarb on May 07, 2014, 02:24:34
Is this a popular pattern for grain de riz? The mark is so blurry-maybe supposed to be Kangxi, can't tell. Thought it might be early 1900s? Thanks much for all the insights.

More recent item with apocryphal Kangxi mark.
I would not collect rice grain pattern unless you already know it well.
Rice grain pattern bowls, cups, etc. are still being made and used today. There aren't many really old ones around.
