The painting style resembles somewhat that of the late Ming dynasty, but... do I see a dragon with wings and no legs?  I know nothing of such a beast in Chinese mythology. My impression is that it could have been made in SE Asia.

I have check the rest of my photos and you are right.....I can't detect any legs.
For someone to do quite detailed drawing resembling Ming style....to missed out the legs is baffling.

Do you think it is a made in Vietnam ?

What is your opinion of the base ?

Thank-you

I don't know. Most blue and white wares that I have seen from Vietnam are bowls and plates, and small jars. Those contemporary with the Ming wares undoubtedly show Chinese influence, but this item  does not look similar. Despite their similar style, Vietnamese B/W wares shows some typical (sometimes only slight) differences in decoration styles. Overall this jar shows a style similar to Zhangzhou ware (Swatow), or late Ming wares, but when looking at this some details are odd.
