Post by: Hmm on May 12, 2017, 06:41:02
Hi, any thoughts whether this is a Republican or late Qing vase?

Thanks.

Republican. If you upload a picture of the last three lines (columns), far left, of the writing, we might even be able to read the company which made it.

Hi, I uploaded a photo of the last three lines.  imgur.com/a/eZxMv

Hopefully it's clearer.  Any help figuring out what those characters are, would be great, since I always have great difficulty trying to read what looks like grass script.

Thanks.

We could not read some of the characters either.
The second last line says '??? ??? as the location, and '??????'. We cannot read the first character shown with ??, however.

Thanks a lot of trying to figure out who made it.

I tried using google/baidu to search around based on what you said to no avail.  Perhaps it just wasn't a large porcelain producer.
