Title: vase w flowers/bird
Post by: rarb on May 03, 2014, 02:45:05
A novice at photography, so apologies in advance  Is this vase recent or old? Any thoughts appreciated.  Qianlong mark, apocryphal? Does anyone know name for style of decoration where enamel? is layered thickly in spots creating a nice effect on the flowers. Not sure which of the rose classifications it would fall into, if pre-1930.

Hi Rarb, your vase is about two decades old at the most, the mark is a apocryphal Qianlong mark.
