Title: Another vase found in my great aunt's attic (1 of 2)
Post by: Gda245 on Feb 09, 2017, 04:34:24
Hello again

Found two more vases in my great aunt's attic.  This one is the first I'm going to post since the second one actually had some sort of certificate of authenticity inside of it.  Thank you all.

I do not think that this is old at all or not Chinese there is nothing traditional with the decoration.

This is an easy to detect fake. Text on vase says Yuan dynasty, but the decoration is wrong, the blue color is wrong, and before all the bottom is a typical fake one. Old bottoms do not look like this. I would think that this was made in the last two decades.
Why not upload the "appraisal" inside?
