Title: Hand painted saucer plates??
Post by: cuinterrupted on Nov 07, 2016, 07:36:56
I picked up these three plates the other day and I think they are hand painted and there are stamps on the front any in sight would be greatly appreciated. I just think they are beautiful.

Judging by the bottom and the decoration these are modern, sorry I can't help with this, I am more familiar with antiques, maybe someone else can help.

Mark and characters are illegible. These are obviously from a series depicting specific locations/views in Japan. You might be able to find the location of pictures of that castle and pagoda online. This looks contemporary.
