Title: Vase with Floral decoration
Post by: bokaba on Jul 31, 2016, 12:43:29
Large vase with dark background and floral decoration with rough foot. Is this mid-20th Century or a modern reproduction? Is it even Chinese?

The decoration would be Japanese, I would need a picture of the bottom.

sorry I did not realize the bottom, it looked like the top before I enlarged it, thanks, the colors look like 2nd half of the 2th century, nice vase.

Thanks Stan. Is there any way tell when in the second half of the 20th C? Are we talking 1950s or 1990s?

It looks like it is from the 50's or 60's to me, the colors  and design look like that around that period, it could be earlier but I am not sure, I think the later is a better bet.
