Title: Is This Rust-Brownish Bowl Chinese Or Japanese

The shape suggest to be modern but wonder if it is Japanese or Chinese? Not sure which way to rotate the mark.

This is Japanese, sorry I can't tell you anything about the mark but I believe it is called Raku.

Looks like a Japanese studio piece.
