Any information on this piece? I think it is a tile of a dragon or other creature.

It is Taiwanese Koji pottery. See this: www.cojy.com.tw/, it is contemporary pottery, that means made in the more recent decades or 20th century. You will find the character  ??? (left side mark) mentioned on the website. The first artisan shown in the fourth tab on the site tinyurl.com/hyesutc is the craftsman who made it (mark on the right): ???.

This is Jiayi Jiaozhi Pottery.    (?? Pinyin=Jiaozhi, Japanese=Koji). The term "Cojy" is a locally made up reading.
