Title: Small lided Bowl with dragons
Post by: heavenguy on May 09, 2016, 06:27:42
Hello, I bought this on a house from a lady who used to live in Japan in the 50's. She had some really nice stuff and I found this little bowl with a lid.

It has hand painted dragons and some Kanji on the circles. The lid handle reminds me of those Tongzhi period famille verte export peach handles. but as far as I know this is Japanese.

For the life of me I can't translate the bottom.

?

?????

Any idea on the age? Any information provided will be of much help.

Thank you in advance.

The mark says "Shanghai Two Dragon Tea Shop Product", probably the ordering party. To me the dragon looks like something from perhaps the forties.
