Title: Blue and white vase
Post by: Adriano on Apr 18, 2016, 23:09:24
I bought this vase about thirty years ago in an antique shop.
The seller said that the piece was old, but he was unable to tell me the period and origin.
The dimensions are height 27 cm, max diameter 12 cm.
The vase has no mark, but due to the subject, I think it could be Chinese.
I am interested to know if it is very old or is a recent production.
I would be grateful if someone could tell me something about.

Many thanks,
Adriano

Hi Adriano, nice blue and white, I think it is 1st half of the 20th century because the way the clouds and the fire is drawn, late Qing would have been different, I think.
