Can you tell me how old these famille roos plate is? is it genunie or fake?

This is also new, not more than a decade, and could have been made anywhere, more than likely European, it does not have any traditional characteristic of the Rose Medallion pattern that I have seen, none other than a poor copy.

I bought these together with the ginger jar years ago from an elderly chinese couple. they assured me these are old pieces.
they seemed like such honest people...

Well just because the people were old does not make the porcelain old, and if they were saying they are old then I feel your were mislead, that is my opinion.
