Title: Canton plates with Qianlong mark
Post by: carlyoung on Mar 26, 2016, 06:36:45
Hello

Looking for a little help with this pair of plates I have , they bear a Qianlong mark but feel 20th century to me. I have had contradicting comments regarding the age of them which range from the 1970's to a couple of years old .

Can you help clear this up?

Thanks

Definitely at least 2nd half of the 20th century.  Probably done in HK in the 80s.

Not fencai enamels. Second half of 20th century. If it is overall very smooth, then it might be printed.
