Hello, Can anyone identify the mark on this blue and white stoneware cup? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! David.

Looks like a modern piece to me?

If I see it right the characters read:
?Guo = rice cake, not sure though picture is a bit blurry, probably some other character.
?Ji = Surname Ji or lucky

If it?s a name that points to modern Chinese, as they tend to have two character names nowadays, as opposed to the traditional three character names (family name, surname part 1 and 2).

Looks Japanese to me, and probably not very old.
