Title: Blue and white Bowl
Post by: heavenguy on Mar 20, 2016, 07:14:41
This Bowl came from the same person who collected Chinese porcelain. This one doesn't have a mark. This one has a more whiter tone on the bowl and where the paint is the white it has a slight blueish color.

is it also a dehua plate from early 19th century?

thank you in advance

Not sure if it is Dehua, but Qing dynasty should be no problem.

I posted a lidded Jar with a very similar decoration, the jar has a artemisia leaf on the bottom, I think from the Kangxi period, the color blue and unglazed area is same.

Thank you Stan, I'm trying to find a similar piece but can't. I think it will be kind of impossible to really match it up to one specific era. But if it is a Kangxi piece then this will become my first oldest antique.
