Post by: heavenguy on Mar 01, 2016, 02:46:30
Hello, I was wondering what its your guys opinion on this vase.

it is 4 3/4 inches tall so not vey big. It has a stamp with an apocryphal Qianlong mark. You guys think its circa 30's?

Thank you in advance.

Vases with this specific type of decoration, in black, are normally 20th century.
Further, if you are looking for value items, I recommend not to buy items with stamped or other modern Qianlong marks in red. They are usually from the 20th century, frequently from the 2nd half. There are just too many modern items with spurious, red Qianlong marks on the market.
