Title: Kwan Yin over leaf and water dehua figurine
Post by: heavenguy on Feb 21, 2016, 06:15:57
This one is 9 inches tall and has two marks.  The dehua mark and the other one is from the maker. I'm not sure if it is one of those recent reproductions made in the early 20th century or even later.

All of this pieces belong to a person who had a collection of 28 pieces.

any ideas on the age an other information?

Thank you

The inside is a little different from the rest. I'm not sure why they glaze it. Also it has very lose dirt on the inside. I'm not sure if this is one is a fake reproduction. Still a nice piece thought.

Face, posture and everything looks modern to me.
