Hi, Can anyone help me identifying this jar and mark? I am new to this and have spent many hours trying to find something similar with no luck. Any info would be helpful.

This is called a Famille Noir circular box, mid 20th century.

Thanks "Adept" for the reply. from the key words in your reply I was able to find three similar items with the exact same style. Interesting how other sites identified the dates as between early to late 1900, One site was very precise as to the date as being 1960's, which seems to agree with what you suggested. Again thanks for the response.
