I guess more recent. Probably the mark is not of importance but just in case someone can read it.

Hi Kardinalisimo, I can't read the marks but I agree with the age, I have never seen a mountain like that with 3 peeks, the most common is Mt fuji with one peek, is there a mountain with 3 peeks?

Mt Shirane has three peaks but there could be other.

It probably just symbolizes the cragged volcano mouth.
