Hi could anyone give me information on this Jiajing marked vase.
The top line reads "Lucky day, 8th month, year 6 that's as far as I can get.
Factory made?
13 1/2 inches tall

The mark tells in which year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming dynasty the item was given to what probably is a prince or relative of the emperor.
The mark is too impeccable for being of the period, in my view. The decoration looks recent to me.
