Title: Buddha Hand patterned Min Yao plates?
Post by: Hmm on Dec 02, 2015, 03:04:02
Hi, any opinion on the period of these plates?  Are they all around the same period despite having a slightly different bottom?

Based on comments regarding my other kitchen Qing plates, I assume these are also Dehua plates due to the blue underglaze "crawling".

Thanks.

Batches can differ. In my view this could be about mid-Qing dynasty, made at Dehua kiln.

Mid-Qing would be possibly be 18th century?  Where Early Qing would be 1644-1750? Mid-Qing would be 1750-1820?  Late Qing 1820-1911?

Thanks.
