Title: Antique chinese porcelain woman help
Post by: szakosp on Nov 30, 2015, 06:05:10
Hi,

I have a beautiful antique chinese porcelain woman. Could you please help me identify it? How much could it worth?

It is 38 cm high, I attached some pictures. Thanks in advance for your help.

This is more likely vintage. I believe that this is from the 2nd half of the 20th century. Before that such lifelike figurines are very rare in the 19th century or earlier. The fact that no traces of impressed cloth threading are visible on the bottom also points to a later time than early republic period. The character impressed in the bottom just means 'big'.
A very well done item.
