Post by: Charles on Nov 27, 2015, 01:31:42
Any thoughts on the age and authenticity of this blue and white bowl? Please feel free to share the reasons why you believe these bowls are either authentic mark and period or fake copies. Thank you!

Dimensions: 6.9" diameter and 3.25" high.

Cheers,

Charles

In my view these are borderline items. With that I mean they could be Guangxu period and mark, but they also could be newer fakes. Photographs are not sufficient to decide. Much would depend on usage traces; would need a hands-on inspection.
