Unfortunately, I am completely unable to decipher the writing on this ewer, and am wondering if it is late 19th or early 20th century. Thank you to anyone who is able to help. There are oxidized spots on the body.

This looks later to me, the mark is not centered and the bottom is not a traditional bottom, maybe 2nd half of the 20th century or later.

Thanks Stan. If it is newer, that would certainly explain why the lid is not missing!
