Title: Identification help please
Post by: Mstingerod on Oct 16, 2015, 00:44:32
I inherited this piece from my grandmother  she was an antique collector and dealer all her life. I know nothing about it and am hoping to identify it and find out an approximate value. I don't want to use it heavily if it is valuable.
Thank you in advance!

Hi, your vase is Japanese Yoshidaya-style Kutani with a generic "Fuku" mark. I find it difficult to date these, but I do think yours is not older than 20th century. Maybe someone else can give a more exact date.

I agree with Mat, the colors are much to bright to be earlier, I think that it is 2nd half of the 20th century.
