Title: Large Chinese Bowl with 4 scenes, need help with age and period

Any help identifying the age and period of this piece would be greatly appreciated.  It's quite large, 10" in diameter and 3" high.  Is it Chinese or Japanese?

This looks Japanese to me and early 20th century.
