Title: Chinese large stem bowl?
Post by: alliececilr on Sep 21, 2015, 09:57:11
I found this old bowl at a flea market.  I am wondering if this could be a chinese bowl with a tea dust glaze.  It is beautifully made and interesting.

High foot bowl with tea dust glaze. Unfortunately I have never seen such a shape, and the foot rim would not be right for an item of the 18th or 19th centuries, I think.

I agree with Peter, this looks very modern.

I agree that the look is modern but it has so many age signs.  Very confusing.
