It looks recent to me but could be vintage. Any help with the artist name on the base? Using OCR I came with Zhang Wei Xin and no potter by that name can be found, but I could be totally wrong about the characters.

This could as well have been made last week. The name uses simplified characters, which means it is later in the 20th century at the most.
