Title: Jun Glaze Style Plate

That mark on the back does not look like Chinese character to me so probably modern studio piece? The foot rim is not quite Chinese either, is it?

Features that show the item could be made in a certain region, and not anywhere.

That is true. For some reason I like it very much. I feel like it is still made in Asia but more recently. Hope to ID the mark one day.
