The decoration and age signs of this bowl looks as if it were from the late Qing dynasty. However, there is an apocryphal Chenghua four character mark. Based on this I would think it is perhaps rather late Qing to early republic period.

Hi Peter

I know apocryphal marks don't help with the piece but can you read the characters. I try to match them to other writing so I can recognize a few some day.

Is that meant to be a question? If yes, please read my answer carefully, it is there.

Also, I would recommend to read the section about marks, so that you know about their  uselessness. :-)
