Title: Spotted Ch'ing-pai Ware
Post by: dark379 on Aug 27, 2015, 01:12:56
Hi can anyone help me about this Ch'ing-pai Ware if it is real or fake. It was an old collection from 70's for a old man. You can also see the mark of the scotch tape on it.

Looks like a Song or Yuan dynasty Lotus Leaf Jar to me. The name comes from the lid which in some larger variations takes shape of a lotus leaf. I assume it will not be higher than some 10-12 cm?
