Title: Monochrome yellow
Post by: alliececilr on Aug 24, 2015, 21:45:54
Hi:  I am cleaning my garden for fall and brought in this vase from my gazebo.  It seems very old.  It is about 18 inches high with a yellow fine crackle glaze.  I am wondering if this could be asian.  It seems to have some features but I am not sure about the handles.  Thanks

This is not a Chinese shape. It could only be Chinese if it were modern.

Could be Bower pottery, Im not sure if Bower is spelled correctly, but that is what it looks like.
