Post by: Maritess Nacua on Aug 07, 2015, 15:30:47
Hello.  I need Identification on this piece.  I love the design and love to know the dynasty and worth of this piece.  It is selling for $80.  Thank you.

The same in view to pictures applies with this one. If it is not a good fake or repaired, then I would consider this a a very good find. What diameter does it have?

Hi Peter.  These are the other best pictures - close up I can find.  The diameter of the plate is 10 inches.  I will wait for your input.  Thank you in advance.

Looks like a Longquan plate, but the pictures are not detailed enough. What I have doubts about is mainly the unglazed ring on the bottom. Why is it so irregular. This should be made in one movement, crating a more round unglazed ring.
I would think it advisable to keep away. There are many good Longquan fakes on the market. It is difficult to tell with these pictures whether it could be authentic or a fake.
