Thanks Peter. Do you think it has some age?

I think I got it. It is a Thai kendi.
From what I read the circular scar from the support is typical for the Sukhothai kingdom.

Try finding sources at www.mingwrecks.com/shipwrecks.html or sites like the Oriental Ceramics Society or museums for reliable information. These have links to other information sources too.

There is a PDF swimming around somewhere on the internet, that is discoursing such items. But I cannot find it right away.

That one looks fine. Generally, educational and research institutions do not get involved in the faking problems present with today's antiques, as they can go directly to the source. Some individuals or private entities are okay too, but let us avoid mentioning the commercial ones. As the whole field is too wide, it is difficult to know what is for real and what not.
I do recommend Nanhai Marine Archaeology websites because they do underwater archaeology and are not just treasure hunters.

BTW, the one you mentioned is not the PDF I meant. :-)
