Title: Blue and White porcelain jar?

Hello-

Would you be able to tell me anything about this jar or vase? Age etc.. Not sure
if it is Chinese, Japanese or other? Modern, reproduction?It has a metal rim which i believe is bronze. No marking.

This looks Japanese to me, the blue would be right for late the Meiji period, it looks like they were trying to copy a Chinese plum blossom pattern, if it is Chinese it would bee a modern item, it think.
