Title: Republican era pot with mark?
Post by: sds63 on Jul 15, 2015, 05:15:46
I think that I have Republican era pot with a mark but I do not know when in the era and what the mark reads.  Can you help me determine  when made and what the mark reads?

Can you post a closeup of foot rim and one or two parts of the decoration. Faces should be clearly visible, if any. Partial pictures are fine.

I am sending the attached photographs of the faces and rim.

Thanks

This looks like 20th century to me.

Very late 20th century. Colors, etc. imitating those of 100 years earlier, but people are painted in a  different manner. The Qianlong mark is frequently found on 20th century porcelain, for decoration only.
