Title: Grape Plate
Post by: Maritess Nacua on Jul 10, 2015, 14:25:39
Please help identify this ?  I think it is not Chinese but then, the bottom and side seems like Chinese.  It could be modern or what?  What is your thoughts on this? Thank you!

Chinese,  Qing dynasty, perhaps Dehua kiln. Pictures are too small to see details clearly.

Thank you Peter! Any idea of the value?  Attached is another picture.

The bottom, including foot rim, is usually the most important for dating.
We do not talk about values here. See www.chinese-antique-porcelain.com/value-of-antiques.html
But I think it is not very high priced. Its collecting value is probably higher than the monetary value.

I do agree with you Peter.  I am just proud that I got an authentic historical item from our country.  Thank you very much!
