attached pictures is a jar. a bit confuse about the decoration, it looks like a Japanese, but the base I think has a Chinese style. could any one give some suggestion? can some one indicate whether this an antique or an replica.

This seems to have good age but I haven't seen anything with this design that is Chinese. The colors look fairly dark to me and it "could" be Japanese, but I am not an expert. If you look at Imari pieces, the late 19th century pieces have very dark blue colors. Wish I could be of more help, good luck.

I think this is a recently made Item, on the foot rim the dirt was added to make it look older, I think it is Chinese but not old, Japanese blue would be a brighter cobalt blue, I think this is a copy of a Qianlong decoration.
