Title: Help with red signature on small bowl, Chinese or Japanese?
Post by: Anteaque on Apr 30, 2015, 00:59:19
Hi everyone! I found some intriguing Chinese miniature bowles or vases and I wonder if there is someone out there who can decipher the signature?
I'll post pictures of the other piece later.

In my opinion it's a modern version of a Japanese Incense Burner. That is the most common design in Japanese censers, especially with the Shishi dog on the top as a lift handle.
