Hi I was wondering if the base is correct for such a vase?
I can't seem to find any similar.
Could this be a studio piece?
Thoughts?
I think this is doubtful. But, it is not only the bottom. The painting is done rather carelessly spillin over on other colors, and the yellow in places look as if it was not fired, or not with high enough a temperature. Could be that this is a fake or was tampered with.
