Title: 42cm Porcelain Statue with oval Impressed Mark
Post by: rarnwolf on Mar 09, 2015, 11:24:39
Eyed this guy up at an antique auction. People don't go for Asian items really in my area and I got him for a deal. From what I've seen I believe this is the god of longevity Shou? I was impressed to buy him because of his condition,  colors and mark. Any help identifying age, location,  and rarity would be appreciated.

Few other things I have noticed is his peachy bottom, red stamps on his head and gold dots on his face. Are any of these additional identifiers, traits of a more specific date or style? Thanks in advance.
