Title: Little box
Post by: Martiimum on Mar 07, 2015, 08:47:20
Hi there.

I have this little box with pictures on both the inside and outside. On the inside of the lid there is part of the picture missing like it was printed but a bit was missed. The pictures on the interior, both under the lid and on the inside of the bottom are pictures of people copulating. I'm really sorry if these aren't permitted here (I looked in forum guidelines but didn't see it mentioned but on some other websites it is not permitted). The deal on these pictures is very thin or fine. On the outside the detail on the drawings are much thicker and includes pictures of people and landscapes. The picture on the lid is of some sort of lion like animals with humanoid faces.

Please let me know if you have any idea how old it is or country of origin?

Thanks in advance.

This is Modern Chinese, the mark is a spurious four character Yongzheng mark, late 20th century in my opinion.
