Title: Are these antique Chinese or Asian marks?
Post by: Kel on Mar 02, 2015, 17:19:16
Hello

It is wonderful to find this site. I have taken the object to several country antique markets to find out more about this item. The only responses are that the marks look Chinese and that the item is porcelain. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Kel

It looks like the bottom says Made in China, I can't read the top but they did not start using made in china until after 1920 and they are still using it to day, however I could be wrong about when they actually started using the made is China date it could be even later, I just remember reading that is about when thay started before that it just said China.
