Title: Green 6" tall Vase with cracking and black lines
Post by: victor on Feb 21, 2015, 19:09:24
I just got this nice looking 6" tall Vase, there no mark from what i can see. It came with wooded stand. So once again is this Chinese or Japanese or made in U.S. ? I got it at a street sale. I ask the lady, she  know notthing about, only she got it 20 year's ago from dad house. It look Japanese to me. I have not seen a Chinese color like this. Well i knew to this. Thank you for any help........

I think this would have to be Chinese because of the bottom the Japanese would have had a foot and not just a flat bottom, that is all I can tell you, Im sure Peter will be more informative.

Vase with crackle decoration.
It is likely Chinese, but not very old. Could have been new when she got it. The consistency of the bottom, which seems to be unglazed, is too dense to be antique.
