Title: Celadon or glazed plate ?
Post by: Aun on Feb 02, 2015, 18:20:22
hello! not sure if this is a proper celadon plate or a glazed one. it has the chinese character shou for longevity in the centre. fairly good condition, maybe some minor chips on the rim. based on the identification guide, I'd wager it to be a late qing piece. thanks for your comments.

Right, late Qing it is in my view too. This type of celadon glazed underglaze blue plates frequently have a four character Chenghua Nianzhi mark.
