Title: Tea pot or Win pot
Post by: Stan on Jan 31, 2015, 06:23:36
Hi Peter I bought Three tea pots, I was told that they are wine pots, I never heard them called wine pots before, the one on this post has only one hole for the spout, another has three and the other has 7 holes inside for the spout, can you tell me how old you think this is, the dealer said that he thought the lid does not go with the pot, the size is 18.4 cm tall, I will post 12 photo's, thanks.

A teapot usually has a handle. This one has none so its use for wine or water is likely.
Late Tongzhi or Guangxu reign should be no problem.
