Any help with the age?
Thanks

Probably early republic. It has a Tongzhi mark, but this is apocryphal, in my view. This type of painting is typical for the early 20th century, when many qianjiang painters made the change from qianjiang techniques to a the new colors (new fencai) just introduced.

Thanks Peter. Yeah, I don't think the mark is period. Not sure how does the new fencai differ from the qianjiang besides that the colors are brighter.
What does the writing on the lead read? Is not there any cyclical year mentioned in the poem?

kardinalisimo

Ops, I meant the writings on the lid.

The first character on the left is unclear, but the one on the other end seems to be ?. It seems to say that this is copying someone else's work.
