Hello everyone!

I was hoping you could help me with this. This teapot was given to me as a gift. My friend got this from Beijing and was told it is around 150 years old. I was wondering if you could help me tell the real age and the artist's name, if not a fake..

Thank you for all your help!

You have to cut far more than 100 years off the given age. Probably it is no more than 20 years old. Colors, writing style and the fact that it was made to look dirty in some places are all tell-tale signs of modern fakes. I bet the wax seal is fake to, or taken from a real item, just to make it appear genuine. I actually looks like a more recent copy of a decoration originating in the first half of the 20th century.
