Ceramic Bowl

What is your opinion on this piece? After doing some research although the characters indicate late ming they are not in the correct order. The discolouration cannot be cleaned, we have tried. Even a mild abrasive does not work. On the inside it appears to be under the glaze although there are some white patches. The colour would be unusual for the period but not unknown. It would seem odd to fake a piece like this but it probably is. It is 9 inches wide and about 2 3/4 high.
