I think this is very nice Japanese plate, I will need a photo of the bottom at an angle showing the foot rim, a partial is good showing the inside and out side of the foot also a close up of the decoration, also the mark is not readable because it is hid by the hanging brackets, Im not sure if that could be removed to reveal the mark, you do not want to damage the plate, that is how I chipped my Qianlong blue and white.

Could be, it would be nice to see the whole mark.

hi,
here is the correct one
by the way the wrong one is the back of  the 14'' plate (Nr34)

Stan

Im not sure but in my book on marks it looks like it could be Ju shun tang zhi  which means hall of gathering obedience or hall of .......... something to that effect, and it would be Kangxi period.

peterp

Yes Stan is right, it seems to read Jushun Tang 聚順堂製. That would make it a Kangxi reign private mark.

Hi all; Hi Peterp and Stan:
So this is a Kangxi period chinese plate?
